Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority - FPV Drone
Always a thrill to fly through such beautiful and important infrastructure, this time for Frankston Hospital. FPV drone is a great way to showcase the details in conjunction with the broader scope of a project. It's also a lovely balance between playful and practical, highlighting all the necessary details in each shot, with the exciting flare unique to FPV.
Capturing the finishing of a project is always thrilling, as our lens has plenty to capture. Every feature of this hospital was carefully thought out, which is why conversations between our team and the client starts our process off on the right foot. As the project is completed, our team can have a recce of the space prior to shooting, and note all key focal points in person, and with the client, craft the most interesting and exciting way to fly through and harness the pride their team has in their completed work.
Our team played with varying altitudes for this shoot, flying high and low to capture the details from a range of perspectives. My favourite shot from this shoot comes at the end of our edit, a turn to reveal an intricate silver sculptural piece. As the drone pushes forward it reveals in detail the intricate nature of the art piece, almost becoming 3D as the drone approaches. It’s a beautiful moving frame that takes you on a visual journey, exemplifying this balance of playful and practical.
