The secret river

Nature is in a constant state of flux. It is made up of infinite moments in time that never repeat. I seek to capture profound moments with my camera, to render flux still. To capture the ordinary when it shines for just a moment with profound meaning before it again blends back into the world. These moments can be exhilarating, quiet, contemplative and dramatic.

These are the feelings that bring my sense of awareness into the very present. Moments of solitude in the landscape allow for a deeper awareness, allowing me to see or recognize when these moments are to happen. I allow the light, the wind, the sounds to completely envelope me so that my renderings of the world are true to my feelings. My work is a reflection of how a landscape makes me feel.
